Founder & Senior Technical Consultant
Dr. Polycarpou brings more than 30 years of industrial and academic tribology expertise, combining fundamental research with practical solutions to friction, wear, and lubrication challenges. His experience spans compressor tribology, extreme-temperature and high-pressure testing, hydrogen and helium environments, and micro/nanotribology of engineering surfaces. As co-founder of ATSP Innovations, he also brings experience translating advanced materials research into commercial applications. At APEX Tribology, he guides testing strategies, interprets complex surface interactions, and helps clients improve material performance and component reliability.
